Vishal Jain
Chief Executive Officer
Vishal holds over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has held prominent leadership positions in fintech, multinational banks, and digital lending organizations, both in India and abroad. Currently, he is leading the growth of Manipal Business Solutions (MBS) by driving business strategies to expand the business correspondent network, grow doorstep banking initiatives that include KYC services, and working closely with leading banks to make financial solutions more accessible to the last mile. His vision is to make MBS the most preferred and trusted fintech company in India.
Before joining MBS, Vishal worked with Spice Money, Paytm, Indifi, Barclays Corporate Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and GE. In his entrepreneurial role, Vishal incubated two successful startups. Vishal holds a post-graduate degree in Marketing & Finance from IMT Ghaziabad.
Shyam Desai
VP - Business Development
Shyam has over 18 years of experience in business development, distribution, and sales across sectors including financial inclusion, payments, telecom, and FMCG. Being associated with the group for the past seven years, Shyam leads alliances and business development initiatives for the company and works closely with banks, non-banking financial companies, and fintechs. He works toward forging stronger relationships with clients and creating customized financial solutions that cater to specific needs and add value to their business.
Before joining MBS, Shyam worked with HCL Infotech, Paypoint Network, and Bright Telecom (Sagem India). He also worked with a Middle East-based group during his entrepreneurial stint. Shyam is a postgraduate in marketing from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai.
Saud Ahmad
Head – Sales and Distribution
Saud has over 19 years of experience in strategic planning, business operations, channel management, commodity management, and relationship management in financial inclusion, e-governance, and telecom domains. Saud has been associated with the company for more than 12 years and is spearheading business operations, developing procedures, service standards, and operational policies for business excellence.
Before joining MBS, Saud worked with Smart Identity Devices. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer application and an MBA in operations and marketing from Bhopal University.
Amarjeet Tiwari
Chief Technology Officer
Amarjeet holds more than 20 years of experience in credit risk, assets portfolio management, payments, remittance, and cash management. With his passion for technology and domain expertise, Amarjeet is dedicated to enhancing and optimizing business operations to add value to the organization and its customers.
Before joining MBS, Amarjeet worked with Care Risk Solutions, Aurionpro, Empays Payment Systems, Integro Technologies, and Merrill Lynch. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from the Indira Gandhi College of Engineering and Technology, Mumbai.
Kamal Kishor Gupta
Head – Business Technology
Kamal has more than 18 years of experience in architecture solutions, design, development, and implementation across business verticals. He works closely with the technology team and focuses on developing strategies to customize products for seamless delivery, ensuring they meet and surpass expectations effortlessly.
Before joining MBS, Kamal worked with FINO PayTech Limited and Byzan System. He holds a degree in advanced computing from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and has completed project management from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee.
Arun Rabra
Head – Software Solutions
Arun holds more than 23 years of experience in building global technology products across industries including banking, insurance, fintechs, and telecom. From concept to product development, Arun focuses on delivering solutions that cater to diverse needs.
Before joining MBS, Arun worked with Mahindra Comviva, Bharti Telesoft, Samsung SDS, and Hughes Software. A core techie at heart, Arun has secured over nine patents that include network nodes, handset-based solutions, and finance. He holds a master’s degree in computer science from G.K.V University, Haridwar, and an executive program in business and finance from IIM – Ahmedabad.
Kavita Mitra
Head – Human Resource
Kavita has more than 22 years of experience in driving people management strategies and initiatives aligned with the company’s goals and business strategy. Kavita has been associated with the company for the past 12 years and leads the human resource department to drive organizational success and foster a positive workplace culture.
Before joining MBS, Kavita worked with FINO Payments Bank and McGraw-Hill India. She completed her bachelor’s in humanities from Miranda College, Delhi University, a postgraduate diploma in journalism from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, Delhi, and a master’s in human resource development from Symbiosis, Pune.
Dhiren V Dedhia
Head – Enterprise Solutions
Dhiren has more than 25 years of work experience in sales and business development in the banking and finance software solutions domains. His experience in emerging markets such as Asia, Africa, and the Middle East has significantly contributed to expanding product lines, entering new geographies, and driving business growth.
Before joining MBS, Dhiren worked with companies including ITShastra India, Infrasoft Technologies, AurionPro, Infotech, and Hexaware Technologies. He holds a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s degree in marketing management from NMIMS, Mumbai.
Shishir Mishra
Head – Enterprise Solutions (Technology)
Shishir holds more than 20 years of experience in software engineering, solution designing and architecture, customer delivery, and program management for fintech businesses. With a deep understanding of global markets, Shishir spearheads the implementation and delivery of tailored enterprise solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth for clients worldwide.
Before joining MBS, Shishir worked with Comviva, Digital Future India, Saboo iTech.com, and Zap Infotech. He is an engineering graduate from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar and has completed several executive programs in people management, business excellence, and leadership from MDI, Gurgaon and XLRI, Jamshedpur.
